Coconut Modak Preparation Guide
Ingredients for Coconut Modak:
Stuffing:
Coconut , ground - 1 glass
Jaggery - 1/2 glass
cardamom powder: 1 tsp
Ghee - as required
External Layer mixture
Rice Flour : 1 container
heated water : 1 container
oil: 1 tsp
1 Heat a dish with ghee.Add ground coconut and broil in
medium or low fire until the crude odor goes off and gets cooked. Include
jaggery, cardamom and blend in medium flame.Do not do in high fire, generally
will wind up in sweet like stuffing. Put aside to chill off.
2.For external layer mixture, bubble water well until it
bubbles. Add it to the rice flour in a blending dish, with oil and salt.
Include hot bubbling water little by nearly nothing and blend with a spoon.
Keep aside shut with top.
3.Once sufficiently warm to handle, ply the mixture easily.
Separate into equivalent measured balls. (12-14 ). Keep secured every one of
them.
4. Oil your hands and make little bowls out of it. Begin
